CYTECH technical two

 Cytech Technical Two builds on Cytech Technical One, which ought to have been completed prior.

The full course is run over eight days face-to-face, separated into two four day blocks. Courses can be completed in either order, week 1 does not need to be completed before week 2.

What does this course include?

Week 1 covers:

• Cables

• Gears and derailleur systems

• Rim brakes

• Headsets, bottom brackets, and bearings.

• Bottom brackets

Week 2 covers:

• Hubs

• Internal hub gears

• Hydraulic brake bleeding and caliper servicing

• Wheel building

Upon completion of the full Technical Two qualification, candidates should have the knowledge to thoroughly assess, service and repair the majority of bikes and customer issues that they will be presented with in the workshop, up to the level of a full bike strip down and rebuild.
